Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC) and King Hussein Cancer Foundation Sign Agreement to Support Early Cancer Detection Project

The Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC) signed a partnership agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation to support efforts aimed at the early detection of breast cancer. The donation will be allocated toward establishing and equipping two modern examination rooms for ultrasound and mammography services as part of the new early detection project set to launch in 2026.

The agreement was signed in the presence of JoPACC CEO, Ms. Maha Bahou, and the general Manager of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, Ms. Nesreen Qatamish.

Ms. Bahou stated that this initiative represents an effective model for integrating humanitarian efforts with corporate social responsibility. She highlighted that enabling individuals and companies to contribute to medical facilities enhances the sustainability and development of healthcare services, ensuring the provision of advanced and comprehensive care for cancer patients while creating a lasting humanitarian impact that extends beyond financial support.

Ms. Qatamish expressed her pride in this partnership, emphasizing that private sector contributions are a key pillar in expanding and strengthening early detection services. She noted that such support positively contributes to increasing opportunities for early diagnosis, improving treatment and recovery rates, and enhancing the overall quality of healthcare services provided to patients.
